The Virginia Beach Field House offers turf and hardcourt field hockey for men, women, and children of all ages and skill levels. We have leagues, camps, clinics, and tournaments of all types throughout the year, so check our website often for the next event.

League Information
Adult Hardcourt Field Hockey is a coed optional league. Men and women can play on the same team but there are no gender requirements or special coed rules.
8 game seasons -- 7 regular season games and 1 post-season game $75 per player if paid at least 2 weeks prior to the first game
$85 per player if paid less than 2 weeks prior to the first game and must be done by phone or in person
Players can sign up with a private team or as an individual
Minimum roster size is 7 players, no maximum number of players
All Hardcourt adult and youth league games are 6 vs 6 (including a goal keeper)
All Turf adult and youth league games are 7 vs 7 ( 5 is required to avoid a forfeit)
All players must provide their own stick
No metal or screw in spikes on Turf- solid cleats, indoor football shoes, or sneakers preferred
Home team must provide their own white shirts
Away team must provide their own dark shirts
We encourage teams to provide their own jerseys!
(if teams show up with similar color jerseys which are difficult for the refs to distinguish, the home team is expected to change or wear pinnies)
Registration
Team captains/coaches must register themselves and their team information no later than 2 weeks prior to the first game to guarantee a spot in the league. Late team registrations will be considered and is at the sole discretion of the League Director, depending on field availability and league size.
