The Virginia Beach Field House and Virginia Beach Volleyball Academy have teamed up to offer an unrivaled middle school volleyball opportunity. This clinic is for boys and girls in grades 5 - 8 who are interested in learning and mastering Junior Olympic level volleyball skills. Instructed by experienced Junior Olympic coaches and professional teachers, this clinic provides a fast-paced, exciting experience for young players to develop and refine the most important volleyball skills and techniques.
The 8-week clinic format is designed to give players learning and playing time. We emphasize a "safe to make mistakes" environment.
The first hour will consist of instruction to teach: 
- Passing
- Defensive movement
- Setting
- Hitting transition and approach
- Blocking
- Overhand serve
The second hour will be filled with scrimmages to teach players how to use the learned skills, techniques, and strategies in game-like situations.
WHEN: Friday's from 6 - 8pm starting September 10, 2010 (8 Fridays Sept. 10 - Oct 29)
COST: $150 per player
