The FC Virginia Beach SOL participates in the Indoor Premier League (IPL), with their home games played at the Virginia Beach Field House. The FC SOL were established to bring a higher level of competitive indoor soccer to Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads. The addition of the FC SOL increases the number of teams in the IPL to 6, giving the existing teams another game in their schedule and a state-of-the-art venue to play in.
The FC SOL also hope to enrich our community through our work with the Virginia Beach Field House’s youth soccer teams, camps, clinics, and tournaments, as well as to provide another facet to the affordable family entertainment we already offer at the Virginia Beach Field House.
The FC SOL is coached by professional coaches Pablo Ortiz and Alex Rebeiz. Pablo has been developing top soccer players since 2002. He holds a USSF B License, and NSCAA National License, and an FERJ professional Brazilian coaching license. Alex played for the national team in his home country of Senegal. Alex holds a D license from the USSF. He also speaks 5 languages fluently. Coaches Alex and Pablo also conduct the SOL Futbol Academy at the Virginia Beach Field House.
Players come from nearby schools, competitive teams, and clubs. We always look for a strong showing from our fans, and invite YOU to come and watch the FC Virginia Beach SOL play in the new Virginia Beach Field House.
Games in the IPL are played on Saturday or Sunday nights. The regular season runs from December through February and concludes in early March with the IPL Championship Tournament. The shorter summer season runs from June through August. Other teams in the IPL are the Tidewater Sharks (Williamsburg), Richmond Rowdies, Winchester Impact, Dulles AC, and the Fredericksburg Generals. Games are $2 at the door or free with a general admission ticket. Tickets can be picked up at the Virginia Beach Field House.
